ok, more pics + details:
removed & filed down the teeth from the skull on his chest, repainted chest, his face, added blood splatter
captain america style boots, belt + gloves, filed down pouches on hips & replaced with gun + holster on right hip, pouch on left (both from wolverine figure)
double barrel shotgun with holster attached to backpack (from another marvel figure, not sure which)
backpack made from pouches & straps for 1:6 figure webbing, with fully functioning plastic clips, can hold his night vision goggles (also from wolverine) & the side pocket holds his knives! straps have shells for his shotgun attached.

im hoping to get hold of a gambit figure next week, so i will also have a long coat for him too.

Return of "BLACK REIGN"

BLACK REIGN is a 2 piece ambient/drone project (me + arthur Arqueilo Urquiola from atv news/rat alley/sedlec)
been on hiatus for nearly a year but think it's time to get things going again. a split with DECAY (terence-discombobulated, eugene-sedlec/dying process) could be on the horizone + we have a couple of old tracks we may do something with & i will be sorting out some new material.

CHICO!

Finally finished my Chico portrait! for those of you that dont know, Chico was an incredibly cute chihuahua puppy we fosterd who unfortunatly died of parvo virus when he was just a 3 months. he originally came from a pet shop & when he was ill his owners couldnt be f@#ked to look after him. another victim of the hideous conditions that animals get put through here, if he had had proper vaccinations early on he would have been ok. why the hong kong government allow this to go on i dont know, we live in a society where lift buttons are wipped down evry 2 hours & yet tattoo studios have no hygiene regulations (find a studio with a sink in it's work area) & animal cruelty is a-ok.
anyways, been working on this on & off for a while & decided it was time to finish it! im kinda happy with him, let me know what you think!

BUSY BUSY BUSY!

Hello to anyone who actually reads this (i know there's a few of ya')
it's been a busy couple of weeks, the studio (star crossed tattoo for those of ya that dont know!) is super booked up, to be honest everyday is pretty much overbooked! (none of this "im booked up for two months" but then only do 2 or 3 hours work a day crap that you here from some "famous" studios who spend most of their time on their asses!) Julia is working solid 6 days a week!
anywho, is could be a long one, might be a bit of ranting (you have been warned!)

First up........ MORE COMIC NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After the new "Red Hulk" storyline being so good, i have recently gone back & read "Planet Hulk" which is even better!
visually it's incredible & so is the story, im not going to give anything away, JUST READ IT!
so far im through the first book, planet hulk, now im moving on to World War Hulk & World War Hulk:Frontline.

Ok, second up........ SKIN & INKS EXHIBITION.

the exhibition went really well, the closing party was great! Julia tattooed live & most of our friends turned up to support us!
we basically had our own area which i was really militant about, so if i wouldnt let you in im sorry, i didnt want our area to turn into a circus like the studio working next to us. Julia did a sweet anchor design on Danny, see the pics below.




one of Julia's canvasses sold @ auction for $11000, to a guy that spoke to us at the opening party who said his budget was $10000, so were really glad he got it! pic below.....

RED HULK!

just discovered a couple of awesome comic shops in hong kong! i was under the impression that they didnt exist here since the one in the SINO CENTRE turned into nothing more than a toy shop!
METRO COMICS & CLARKS COMICS are in CAUSEWAY BAY SHOPPING CENTRE on sugar street (i'll go into more detail with my next post!)
anyway.... as the title of this post would suggest, this is about the new RED HULK!
for those of you that dont know, over the years the hulk has a few personas & the newest is "THE RED HULK!" i dont want to give too much away, but BRUCE BANNER is locked in a secure underground bunker, so who the hell is RED HULK?!?!?!
issue 4 comes out tomorrow, so get your arses down to causeway bay & pick 'em up!



also worth checking out is WOLVERINE 66, which starts a new story entitled "OLD MAN LOGAN" which is set 50 years in the future. not a nice place!
