oh my god, what a miserable day! even wetter & colder than yesterday! anyways, didnt really do anything today, just watched a few episodes of the venture brothers, then was forced to sit through american idol.
started reading a new book, "house of leaves" which has kinda got me hooked!
busy day tomorrow, got mtv filming! hopefully be finished in time to go see sweeney todd.
didnt get my prototypes sorted, didnt get out of bed until 5pm.

NOISY NEIGHBOURS.............

Shit day, wet cold & miserable, feels just like good old blighty!
not much to write really, got some stuff i have to finish the design work on today, hopefully i'll have it all done by tomorrow & i can start getting my prototypes made (sorry for being vague, but im trying to keep this anonymous!)
just finished reading alan moores "watchmen" today, & too be honest the ending is kind of a let down! was really enjoying it before today, but the last chunk just didnt do it for me, have now decided that it WONT make a good movie, but then what comic based story does? (ok, so sin city was good but it was basically written as a bloody movie story board!)
anyways, not got much to moan about today, still creeping around my own flat due to the guy who lives below complaining we "talk too loud & are out partying every night" he doesnt seem to realise that not everyone has the luxury of a 9-5 job (or would want one!) & if people are arriving home @ 1 or 2 am they must have been partying!
once ive got my prototype tattoo machine frames taken care of ive pretty much got a free day 2mrw, probably just take it easy, walk the dogs, maybe watch a movie, might try & do some painting................

Ok, so Im new to all this blog business!
I guess im just gonna generally moan about Hong Kong! Dont get me wrong, I love Hong Kong just not all of it's residents.
So, today on my way to work a local felt the need to shout "foreigner's go to hell" @ my wife & I.
My wife was born here, so is she really a foreigner? if someone is born in england, then regardless of race they are classed as english & yet here in Hong Kong she is regarded as a foreigner, would that not be found incredibly racist back in england?

Living in Hong Kong, i guess im pretty much a bit of an outcast! I dont wear a suit to work & I dont like football or rugby, apparently (i have been told by locals) this means im not really english! Im not patriotic, so comments like that dont bother me, even comments like "wow, you're really nice for a white person" dont bother me that much (hey, how many yuppie gweilo arseholes are there in HK!) but what pisses me off is people assuming that im just another gweilo trying to cash in on the local "scene".
This probably sounds like jumbled nonsense, but it will hopefully all start to make sense as i go along!
